US Airways First Class
On May 19, 2005, US Airways Group announced its merger with
America West Holdings Corporation (holding company of America West
Airlines). The new company will retain the US Airways name, its
Dividend Miles frequent flyer program, and participation in the Star
Alliance. Subsequently all America West flights are now branded as US
Airways. The frequent flyer club for America West Airlines will change
from America West Club to become the US Airways Club, along with
changes to all signage and livery on aircraft, airports, and other
printed material. Eventually, the America West name will vanish by
2007. The combined airline US Airways has branded itself as the
"World's Largest Low-Fare Airline".

US Airways became the 15th member of the Star Alliance on May 4,
2004. Airlines of the Star Alliance offer 790 destinations in 138
countries, access to airport lounges around the world. By joining US
Airways Club you can earn miles/ points no matter which Star Alliance
airline you fly with. You can also redeem your points/ miles on any Star
Alliance airline.
US Airways Club
US Air's airport lounge is called the US Airways Club. It includes 21
lounges in 16 major airports around the world. Club membership has
several tiers, these are: Base which includes access only to the US
Airways Clubs. Red Carpet includes US Airways Clubs and provides access
to United Airlines Red Carpet Clubs when flying on a United Airlines
ticket. Star Alliance includes US Airways Clubs, United Airlines Red
Carpet Clubs, and all other Star Alliance partner airline clubs.
