The City of Legazpi (Bikol: Ciudad nin Legazpi; Filipino: Lungsod ng Legazpi) is a component city and capital of the province of Albay and in the Bicol Region in the Philippines. The city is the regional hub of Bicolandia.The regional administrative,political,educational,transportation center of the Bicol region. It is also the largest city in the region in terms of population with 182,201 inhabitants according to the 2010 census.
Legazpi is known as the ’ “City of Fun and Adventure” It is also s given the monicker “The Queen City of Bicol” and “Queen City of Southern Luzon”.It is also one of cities that occupy parts of the Mayon Volcano, one of the most popular icons and tourist destinations in the Philippines.
