Terms and Conditions: Jetabroad Cancellation Protection Services

  1. The Service can be purchased for an additional fee as displayed at the time of booking. It can not be purchased separately for a booking made previously.
  2. The Service is not transferable and can not be carried over to any future bookings.
  3. The Service must be purchased for all passengers on the booking and all flights of the booking.
  4. The Service fee is non-refundable.
  5. If you have purchased the Service, you can cancel that purchased booking at least 48 hours prior to your first scheduled departure. No documentation or reason will be required for your cancellation. Jetabroad may request the reason for cancellation for statistical or survey purposes only, and providing such information is optional and will not affect your eligibility for a refund under the Service.
  6. Only full and complete cancellation of the booking for all flights and passengers included in the booking can be made. Partial cancellation of flights and passengers is not allowed.
  7. You can choose to receive your refund in the form of Jetabroad Credit worth 95% of your original ticket cost, or a cash refund from Jetabroad worth 80% of your original ticket cost. The refund excludes the cost of any ancillaries purchased and any payment surcharge paid at the time of booking.
  8. A Cash refund will be issued to the original form of payment within 20 days of your cancellation request. Please note that individual banks have varying processing times for refunds.
  9. Jetabroad credit will be issued within 3 days after the date of your cancellation request and may be used immediately to pay for a new booking.
  10. If you voluntarily change your booking after purchase, including changes to travel dates, routes, passengers, or fare types, you may still use the Service, subject to the following cancellation deadlines:
    1. If your travel is postponed to a later date: your right to use the Service will expire 48 hours prior to the first scheduled departure on the original itinerary.
    2. If your travel is brought forward to an earlier date: your right to use the Service will expire 48 hours prior to the first scheduled departure on the new itinerary.
    Any refund under the Service will be calculated based on the original ticket cost only and excludes any additional fare, taxes, fees, or charges arising from the change.
  11. The Service does not apply following the earlier of:
    1. a cancellation or material change of any flight by an airline carrier for any reason, including the result of a force majeure event;
    2. the insolvency, bankruptcy, administration, liquidation, restructuring, suspension of operations, or ceasing to trade of any airline carrier operating any flight included in the booking;
    3. any voluntary cancellation or change requested by you directly with any airline of any tickets subject to the Service;
    4. the declaration of a state of emergency, extraordinary measures, travel restrictions, or similar government actions by any authority in any country, city, or region involved in the itinerary, including departure, transit, or destination locations;
    5. the issuance of any travel advisory, safety or security alert, travel warning, or similar notice by any government authority or official travel advisory body in any country involved in the itinerary;
    6. the issuance of any public health notice, epidemic alert, pandemic advisory, or similar warning by any national or international public health authority, affecting any country, city or region involved in the itinerary;
  12. The Service may not be available for all bookings, destinations, airlines, fare types, or payment methods. Jetabroad reserves the right to determine eligibility for the Service at its sole discretion.
  13. Jetabroad reserves the right to refuse, limit, or revoke a customer's purchase or use of the Service at its sole discretion, including, but not limited to, circumstances where there is reasonable suspicion of abuse, misuse, fraudulent activity, or repeated cancellation behaviour inconsistent with normal consumer use.
  14. The Service is not an insurance cover or policy, but a paid extra service for booking. Insurance legislation will not apply to this Service.
  15. Jetabroad reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and liability, for any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change/vary all or any of these terms and conditions or to replace or withdraw this Service, wholly or in part.
